Now that the gallery is empty, cleaned and closed I settle back into my tiny studio work space in a garden shed in the back yard. Houses in New Mexico very seldom have basements or attics so storage space is at a premium. Luckily many collectors and friends purchased work on sale as I made videos as I was packing up the gallery..so less to store.
This virus could have us in a muddle for quite a long time so planning anything long term is quite difficult and not prudent at this time. My son and I will stay the course here at home until our own common sense tells us it's less likely that one of us will contract the virus while out in public domain. My lungs are weakened from bouts of bronchial pneumonia and my son has an unidentified auto immune disfunction and has been house bound for many years . We are not novice "isolationists" ..we have years of practice. I know enough about diseases, biological research and our government to summize that they are guessing at things that will cost time and lives and jobs. Please think for yourselves ..do no harm..and stay safe.
SO..in this viral time of our lives I have been busy moving studio yes..but also gardening and organizing outlines for art workshops to be offered online. They are just in the beginning stages of 1. what to present 2. how long for each session 3. what will they cost? I need to do more research into what is available online now to produce something that I like and can grow as red paint studio's "Be Creative" virtual art journey. But when I'm ready you'll be the first to know.
